Two of our BESTies, Hana Kimura and Kelly Zheng had the opportunity of experiencing a week long internship with Tokio Marine this past May. Here are some of Hana’s thoughts about her experience, “Through the opportunity that FICOH, Shidler: College of Business, and BEST has granted me, I was able to experience a week long internship with Tokio Marine in late May. During the internship, I learned about Tokio Marine's challenges, the initiatives they take to address the challenges, and what it takes to be a "good company". I had such an amazing time being immersed in my home culture while learning about Japanese corporate culture; a concept that was foreign to me. In addition to learning so much about such a wonderful company, I met many wonderful people throughout the week, and made solid friendships. I highly recommend applying for this program, it changed the way I see insurance and international business.”
